What we collect
- When you join a list: your email address, which list you joined, the page you joined from and your country (from your IP address at the time).
- When you pre-order: your name, email, shipping address, what you ordered and what you paid. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
- When you send a wholesale enquiry: the details you type into the form.
- When you browse: if analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including emails about your ship date and refunds.
- To send the emails you asked for when you joined a list.
- To reply to enquiries.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe for payments.
- Supabase to store orders, list sign-ups and wholesale enquiries.
- Resend to send email.
- Vercel to host this website.
- Google Analytics for site statistics, where enabled.
- Shipping carriers to deliver your order.
These companies process information on our instructions and under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Cookies and browser storage
Your cart is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep list sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any list by replying to one of our emails.
- Ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion by writing to hello@somnisole.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, including California, the United Kingdom and the European Union, you may have additional rights such as objecting to certain processing or complaining to a regulator. We honor those rights.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, email people on our lists.
